Meet Me. I’m Paula.
The Roots of My Practice: Cultivation, Care, and Complexity
I believe that whether you are tending to a garden or a complex trust, the secret is in the soil—you have to get the foundation right.
By nature, I am a nurturer and a meticulous builder. When I’m not in the "legal weeds" of a drafting a complex or simple estate plan alike, you’ll likely find me in my garden, where I’ve learned that patience, timing, and pruning are the only ways to ensure something truly thrives. Much like a well-drafted estate plan, a garden is a legacy that requires a watchful eye and a steady hand.
My family reminds me every day why the work I do for my clients matters, and that trickles does to your clients. I know firsthand that "estate planning" isn't just about documents; it’s about protecting the people we love most. This philosophy is also reflected in my home life with my cats (who tend to keep me company while I draft) and my ducks (who keep me laughing). Caring for animals has sharpened my attention to detail—there’s a specific rhythm to managing a flock and a household, just as there is a rhythm to managing a busy law practice.
From New Hampshire to Multi-Million Dollar Results
My legal journey began about 2 decades ago in the small town of New Ipswich, New Hampshire, where I learned the ropes of Estate Planning under a local practitioner. Since then, my career has taken me through high-stakes litigation in Tennessee and beyond, where I helped manage one of the largest wrongful death medical malpractice cases in the region, resulting in an unprecedented $4.25M judgment.
These experiences—ranging from the intimacy of estate work to the intensity of complex litigation—have shaped me into a "Legal Nerd" who thrives on precision. I don’t just "do paperwork"; I curate it. Whether I’m drafting a suite of trusts or doing the most basic will, I approach every task with the same dedication I give to my own family and garden.
